Commonly used heating radiators are made of aluminum, cast iron, and steel. Their manufacturing processes, uses, and unit prices are very different.

1. Aluminum heating radiator: There are two main types: high-pressure cast aluminum and stretched aluminum alloy welding. The main advantages are: aluminum has better heat dissipation and energy saving characteristics, in the same room. If the radiator of the same specification is used, the number of aluminum castings is less than that of steel; Aluminum has good oxidation and corrosion resistance, without any additives. The principle is that once aluminum encounters oxygen in the air, an oxide film is formed. This film is tough and dense, preventing further corrosion of the body material.

2. Cast iron radiator: The old cast iron radiator will gradually be eliminated by the market due to its insurmountable disadvantages, such as low pressure, large volume, crude appearance, and high production energy consumption. At present, the cast iron radiator industry has accelerated the pace of developing new products, and has gradually developed new products that are beautiful, novel, energy-saving and material-saving, and cast iron radiators will be marketed with a new image.

3. Steel radiator: According to the style, there are mainly two types: plate type and column type. The steel column radiator has won the love of many consumers with its rich colors and beautiful appearance. When choosing a steel radiator, consider whether it matches the heating system of the community. Consumers who use open heating systems for heating should be cautious in choosing steel radiators, because steel radiators are prone to oxidation and corrosion when exposed to oxygen. There are strict requirements for the open boiler and the oxygen content in the water, and the main system must be filled with water for maintenance after the heating period. If the maintenance is not good, the radiator will be corroded quickly, and eventually the radiator will leak.

Quality identification method of heating radiator:
1. Ask about the thickness of the heat sink. The thickness of the board directly affects the service life of the radiator. Usually it should be 1.25mm, but some manufacturers cut corners, the actual thickness of their plates is thinner than their claims. The easiest way to identify is to lift a set of heating devices to weigh their weight. You can try to pick up different brands of heating radiators with the same specifications. You can know whoever is lighter and heavier.

2. Whether the surface paint of the radiator is shiny and the color is pure and bright; Whether the surface solder joints are obvious, you can touch the surface with your hands to judge whether it is smooth.

1. The radiator should not be in contact with any acid, alkali or other corrosive properties.
2. Hard water needs to be softened before use to avoid clogging and scale production in the radiator.
3. When using antifreeze, in order to avoid corrosion of the radiator, be sure to use a long-lasting anti-rust and antifreeze that is produced by a regular manufacturer and meets national standards.
4. In the process of installing the heat sink, please do not damage the heat sink or bump the heat sink to ensure the heat dissipation capacity and sealing.
5. When the radiator is completely drained and then filled with water, turn on the drain switch of the engine block first, and then turn it off when water flows out to avoid blisters.
6. In daily use, check the water level at any time, and add water after stopping the machine to cool down. When adding water, slowly open the water tank cover, and the operator's body should be kept away from the water filling port as much as possible to prevent burns caused by the spray of high-pressure steam oil from the water filling port.
7. In winter, in order to prevent the core body from rupturing due to freezing, if it is not used for a long time, the water tank cover and the drain switch should be released to discharge all the water.
8. The effective environment of the spare radiator should be ventilated and dry.
9. According to the actual situation, the user should completely clean the core of the radiator within 1 to 3 months. When cleaning, rinse with clean water along the reverse side of the air inlet.
10. The water level gauge should be cleaned once every 3 months or depending on the actual situation. The parts are removed and cleaned with warm water and non-corrosive detergent.

Installation attention of heating radiator
Note 1: When installing the radiator, be sure to connect the aluminum-plastic pipes and not bend, otherwise the pipes will leak in the future, and each interface must be wrapped with hemp. The position of the interface and the aluminum-plastic pipe are on the same level, so that water leakage at the interface can be avoided.
   Note 2: When many radiators of different materials are installed, they will cause inconsistency in operation. If radiators of different materials are installed in one, it will damage the surface of the slight radiator or destroy the protective layer, and may also cause water leakage.
   Note 3: The installation position of the radiator is also important. For example, leather sofas and wooden furniture are not suitable to be heated for a long time, and people cannot be near the radiator for a long time, which will damage the body.
Note 4: When installing a heavier radiator, a bracket must be installed to support it.
   Note 5: The radiator cannot be covered when in use, as this will prevent the heat from dissipating and will also affect the temperature of the entire house.
   Note 6: After installing the radiator, use a press to suppress a pressure of about 20 kg to check whether there will be water leakage.
