Production process and surface treatment of aluminum profile

Cast and extruded profiles
The manufacturing process of aluminum profile includes: batching, smelting, casting, extrusion, coloring, etc. Anodized aluminum profile, Electrophoresis coating aluminum profile, Powder sprayed aluminum profile, Wood grain transfer aluminum profile, Fluorocarbon sprayed aluminum profile, Polished aluminum profile, Titanium plating process.

Casting is the first process of aluminum production, the main process is:
(1) Ingredients: According to the specific alloy grades to be produced, calculate the addition amount of various alloy components, and reasonably match various metal raw materials.
(2) Smelting: The prepared raw materials are melted in the melting furnace according to the process requirements, and the slag and gas in the melt are removed through degassing, slagging, and refining processes.
(3) Casting: The molten aluminum is cooled and casted into round casting rods of various specifications under certain casting process conditions through a deep well casting system.

extrusion
Extrusion is a means of forming profiles. First, design and manufacture a mold according to the profile product section, and use an extruder to extrude the heated round cast rod from the mold. The commonly used grade of 6063 alloy also uses an air-cooling quenching process and subsequent artificial aging process during extrusion to complete the heat treatment strengthening. Different grades of heat-treatable and strengthened alloys have different heat treatment systems.

Oxidation: The extruded aluminum alloy profile has poor surface corrosion resistance. The surface treatment must be carried out by anodizing to increase the corrosion resistance, wear resistance and appearance of aluminum.
The main process is:
(1) Surface pretreatment: Use chemical or physical methods to clean the surface of the profile and expose the pure matrix to facilitate obtaining a complete and dense artificial oxide film. It is also possible to obtain a mirror or matte (matt) surface by mechanical means.
(2) Anodizing: The surface of the pretreated profiles will undergo anodization on the surface of the substrate under certain process conditions to form a dense, porous, and strong adsorption Al2O3 film.
(3) Sealing: sealing the pores of the porous oxide film formed after anodic oxidation. Improve the anti-pollution, corrosion resistance and wear resistance of the oxide film. The oxide film is colorless and transparent. Using the strong adsorption of the oxide film before sealing, some metal salts are adsorbed and deposited in the film pores, which can make the appearance of the profile show many colors other than the natural color (silver white). Such as: black, bronze, golden and stainless steel.

Frosted fabric aluminum profile: Frosted aluminum profile avoids the shortcomings of bright aluminum alloy profile that will cause light interference in building decoration under certain environment and conditions. Its surface is as delicate and soft as brocade, it is very popular in the market, but the existing frosted materials must overcome the uneven surface sand, and can see the lack of mold patterns.

Multi-tone surface treatment aluminum profile: The monotonous silvery white and brown color can no longer satisfy the architects to cooperate well with the exterior wall decorative tiles and exterior wall latex. The new stainless steel color, champagne color, golden yellow, titanium gold, red series (burgundy, maroon, black, purple), etc., plus colored glass can make the decorative effect icing on the cake. These profiles must be chemically or mechanically polished and then oxidized for the best results.

Electrophoresis painted aluminum profile: The surface of electrophoretic painted profiles is soft and can resist the erosion of cement and mortar acid rain. 90% of aluminum profiles in Japan are electrophoretic painted.
Powder electrostatic spraying aluminum profile: The powder electrostatic spraying profile is characterized by its excellent corrosion resistance, and its resistance to acid, alkali and salt spray is much better than that of oxidation colored profiles.
Plasma enhanced electrochemical surface ceramicized aluminum profile: This type of material is the most advanced processing technology in the world today. The quality of this profile product is good, but the cost is relatively high. It has more than 20 colors, and its biggest feature is that it can be colored like printed cloth according to needs. The surface of the profile is colorful and the decoration effect is excellent.

Titanium plating process
The aluminum profile titanium plating process includes the process steps of material selection, polishing, chemical degreasing, water washing, activation, and vacuum titanium plating, and is characterized in that it also includes:
a. Pre-plating process, this process is to place the activated and rinsed titanium gold aluminum profile in a liquid composed of salt, hydrochloric acid and water for chemical treatment. The processing temperature is normal temperature, and the processing time is until the liquid undergoes intense chemical reaction;
b. Electroplating process, the plating solution components in the process include nickel sulfate, nickel chloride, boric acid, sodium lauryl sulfate, saccharin, brightener. Process conditions: current 3-4A/dm cathode movement, 5-7A/dm air stirring, bath temperature 50-60℃, PH value 3.9-4.2, plating time 15 minutes.
